Entry Requirements

(1) A bachelor degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent.

Duties

(1) To assist in the administrative work of District Council (“DC”) / Committees / Working Groups, which includes hosting meetings, writing meeting minutes and carrying out activities, etc;
(2) To assist in processing the audio recordings of meetings and playing of video clips on information panels;
(3) To assist in processing DC Funds applications and the relevant matters; and
(4) To assist in other DC duties.

Terms of Appointment

(1) Candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms from the date of appointment to 31 March 2021;\r\n(2) Further renewal will be subject to satisfactory performance and operational needs; and\r\n(3) Candidates appointed may be required to work overtime and work on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

$26,000 per month
(1) Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the
Employment Ordinance.

General Notes

(1) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

If a disabled candidate meets the entry requirements, he/she will be invited to attend the selection interview/written examination without being subject to any further shortlisting criteria. (7) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. (1) Application Forms [G.F. 340(Rev. 3/2013)] are obtainable from Home Affairs Enquiry Centres of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or Job Centres of Labour Department. The form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau's website (http://www.csb.gov.hk).
(2) Completed application forms together with copies of all academic qualification proofs should reach Tai Po District Office (Personnel Section), 2/F, Tai Po Government Offices Building, 1 Ting Kok Road, Tai Po, N.T. by post or in person on or before the closing date. Please specify on the envelope "Application for Executive Assistant(District Council)". For submission by post, the deadline is based on the stamp chop date and applicant should ensure that sufficient postage has been paid. Application documents with insufficient postage will not be delivered to this Office. For submission in person, the application should reach the above address by 5 p.m. of the closing date. Late applications or applications which are incomplete or without the relevant supporting documents will not be considered.
(3) Applicants who are not invited for interview within 8 weeks from the closing date may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
