Entry Requirements

(1) Have completed Primary 6 or above;
(2) Must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(3) Have working experience;
(4) Be able to speak fluent Cantonese, to write fluent Chinese and to read and write
simple English; and
(5) Have experience to operate simple audio/ visual system.

Duties

(1) Assist in the management of Community Centres and Community Halls, including monitoring security, maintenance and cleansing, handling check-ins and check-outs of the venue or facilities and assisting users in using facilities or equipment and so on;
(2) Answer public enquiries; and
(3) Perform any other duties as and when assigned.

Terms of Appointment

(a) Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms;\r\n(b) A one-year contract will normally be offered to successful candidates. Further renewal should be subject to satisfactory performance, operational needs and availability of resources;\r\n(c) Candidates will be appointed on part-time basis, with irregular working hours on any days, including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays as and when required. (Remarks: The working hours may vary from month to month);\r\n(d) The appointee is required to work on shift in the Community Centres/ Community Halls in Sham Shui Po District.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

$51 per hour
Unless one of the exemptions specified in the Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Scheme Ordinance (Cap. 485) is applicable to the successful candidate, the Government will arrange to make contributions for the candidate to a registered MPF scheme. Other benefits, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions in the Employment Ordinance when applicable.

(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.
