Entry Requirements

(a) A Hong Kong bachelor's degree, or equivalent;
(b) A certificate in education from Hong Kong tertiary educational institution, or equivalent;
(c) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 3 [See Note 1] or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and
(d) A minimum of 15 years' relevant working experience in educational, social work or rehabilitation settings after obtaining (a) above [See Note 2]. Experience in administration and financial management, management of large-scale projects or provision of services for students with Autism Spectrum disorders preferred.

1. For appointment purpose, 'Grade C' and 'Grade E' in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to 'Level 3' and 'Level 2' respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
2. Applicants with less than 15 years' working experience by the closing date may also apply. If selected, he / she will be appointed at a salary lower than that stipulated in the advertisement as determined individually by the Education Bureau.  

Duties

(a) To oversee, coordinate and monitor the delivery of the services pledged in the 3-Tier Autism Spectrum disorders (ASD) Intervention Model (the AIM Model), NGO-school collaboration Model and other evidence-based ASD specific intervention strategies in ordinary schools ;
(b) To gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of the services delivered in the AIM Model at school;
(c) To provide consultative advices to school personnel and training to teachers to facilitate the implementation of the AIM Model;
(d) To assist in the drafting of a tender document, launching of the tender exercise and preparation for tender evaluation;
(e) To participate in the steering and evaluation meetings related to the implementation of the AIM Model and NGO-school collaboration Model; and
(f) Any other duties as assigned by the Section Head.

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be employed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

$80,000 per month
(a) 14 days annual leave and full pay sickness allowance whereas rest days, statutory holidays(or substituted holidays), maternity leave, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. (b) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 10% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period.
