Entry Requirements

(a) A minimum of five years of full-time work experience gained in digital marketing, international marketing/sales, journalism or communications, public relations, advertising, copywriting, Fintech or financial services experience and three years of relevant full-time work experience gained in social media, video and digital marketing;
(b) A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in digital marketing, international marketing, public relations, advertising, journalism, communications, languages, business administration or related field; a higher degree would be an advantage;
(c) Familiarity of implementing effective strategies on social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, WeChat, etc., video production and photography;
(d) Have an excellent command of written and spoken English, written Chinese, spoken Cantonese and Putonghua; and
(e) Good understanding of Hong Kong’s business environment, experience in investment promotion, marketing communications or economic development would be an advantage.

Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and passionate candidate as Senior Manager (Fintech) Digital Marketing.

You will join a team of Fintech specialists focused on the Fintech sector. In collaboration with the InvestHK Headquarters and global teams and key external stakeholders in Hong Kong and overseas, you will be responsible for supporting your teammates to attract Fintech companies, investors, innovation labs, etc. from the Mainland and overseas to set up their operations in Hong Kong through digital marketing.

First, with a strong drive to deliver tangible results, in particular, you will be responsible for digital lead generation from strategic markets around the world where your teammates will continue to nurture these relationships until these prospects set up their operations in Hong Kong.

Second, you will also drive the digital marketing and assist in the overall promotion of the Hong Kong Fintech Week, a flagship FintechHK event championed by HKSAR government and organized by InvestHK.

Third, you will be responsible to help amplify the brand equity of FintechHK through close collaboration with major stakeholders in Hong Kong.

Overall, your role is instrumental in making this happen, especially through content development and active use of technology, digital, social media, and analytics.

You will need to demonstrate:
• proven experience in digital marketing;
• excellent communication and digital marketing skills; and
• knowledge of the Fintech ecosystem in Hong Kong would be desirable.

Duties

(1) To manage the Fintech Team’s digital marketing and social media initiatives to complement with the work around marketing, public relations and events;
(2) To be responsible for daily maintenance of the Fintech Team’s various digital marketing (e.g. website) and social media platforms to grow our audience and increase engagement across all platforms;
(3) To co-ordinate with different Fintech stakeholders to generate bespoke content (including graphics, videos, and copywriting) across all channels; and to manage FintechHK and to support Hong Kong Fintech Week’s digital image, tone and manner on all digital marketing platforms such as our website and other social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Weibo and Weixin, etc.);
(4) To liaise with all relevant parties on collection, selection, scrutiny and copywriting of the content/business information to be uploaded to the Integrated Marketing Platform for FintechHK;
(5) To manage the Fintech Team’s Video Studio by planning, producing and editing impactful videos;
(6) To help broaden the FintechHK’s social media and marketing outreach across Mainland China;
(7) Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) in order to analyse data and metrics and to develop insights with the objective to further maximise the Fintech Team’s marketing efforts;
(8) To drive development of graphic designs and marketing materials (e.g. logos, leaflets, banners, infographics, advertisements, event and service photography, newsletters and roadshow design, etc.); and be responsible for artwork and printing production;
(9) To handle administrative and procurement processes relating to digital marketing campaigns and projects; and
(10) To assist in any other ad hoc duties.

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for normally 24 months. Renewal of contract will be subject to the service need of the department and the performance and conduct of the candidate.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

HK$61,415 per month
(a) An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the contract. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will equal 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period; and
(b) Candidate appointed will be granted 14 days of annual leave. Other benefits, such as rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity / paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted mainly in line with the provisions of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.

General Notes

(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
