Entry Requirements

Candidaes should have -
(a) (i) Level 2 or equivalent (Note 1) or above in five subjects in Hong Kong Diploma of
Secondary Education Examation (HKDSEE) (Note 2), or equivalent; or
(ii) Level 2 / Grade E or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education
Examation (HKCEE) (Note 2), or equivalent;
(b) met the language proficiency requirement of Level 2 (Note 3) or above in Chinese
language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent; and
(c) Familiar with computer software including Chinese and English Word-processing
skills, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

(1) “Attained with Distinction” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade C in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 3 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE. “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.
(2)The subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language.
(3)‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth. 

Duties

(a) To provide clerical and secretarial support in the organization of community
involvement campaigns and projects;
(b) To provide clerical and scretarial support for the daily operation of District Councils;
(c) To provide clercial and secretarial support for the Committees/Working Groups under
District Councils; and
(d) Other related duties as and when required.

Terms of Appointment

(i) Candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms;\r\n(ii) A contract of one year will be offered. Further renewal should be subject to\r\nsatisfactory performance and operational needs;\r\n(iii) Required to work outdoor and irregular hours.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

HK$12,810 Per Month
Upon satisfactory completion of contract, the appointee will receive a gratuity for the
period of service. The gratuity payable for the contract will be the sum, when added to the
government's contribution to MPF scheme, equals to 10% of the total basic salary drawn
during contract period.

Department. The said form can also be downloaded from the website of Civil Service

Completed forms together with copies of academic and professional qualification
certificates and official transcripts should reach the enquiry address on or before the
closing date of application. Please ensure that sufficient postage is paid to avoid
