A General Clerk is mainly deployed to -
(1) Input data recorded on survey questionnaires,
(2) Prepare and process fieldwork documents,
(3) Perform administrative and clerical duties such as general computer word processing including Chinese and English typing,
(4) Handle telephone enquiries, and
(5) Perform other duties as required.
Terms of Appointment
Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for about 10 to12 months starting from around November 2020. \r\nWorking place(s):\r\n(1) 11/F, Trade and Industry Tower, 3 Concorde Road, Kowloon; or \r\n(2) Any offices of Census and Statistics Department.\r\n
Salary and Fringe Benefits
HK$14,140 per month
The eligibility for the annual leave, rest days, statutory/general holidays (or substitute holidays), maternity leave, paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with those provided for under the Employment Ordinance.
General Notes
(1) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(6) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.

To avoid unsuccessful delivery of mail items, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the
envelope and sufficient postage has been paid before posting.
