Entry Requirements

Candidates should have -
(a) (i)Level 3 or equivalent [Note (1)] or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) [Note (2)], or equivalent; or
(ii) Grade E or above in two subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Level 3 / Grade C or above in three other subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) [Note (2)], or equivalent; and
(b) Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 [Note (3)]or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent.

(1) \"Attained with Distinction\" (or \"Attained with Distinction (I)\" in Applied Learning subjects / \"Attained with Distinction\" in Applied Learning (Chinese) (for non-Chinese speaking students) for 2018 HKDSEE onwards)[count up to two Applied Learning subjects], and Grade C in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 3 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE.
(2) The subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language.
(3) Grade E in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 is accepted administratively as comparable to Level 2 in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.  

Duties

(a) To assist in the coordination, promotion and organization of community involvement (CI) campaigns and projects;
(b) To deal with general enquiries on the CI campaigns and projects from the public;
(c) To provide logistic support for the Committees / Working Groups under District Councils; and
(d) Other duties as and when required.

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms.\r\n

Salary and Fringe Benefits

HK$16,475 per month
Subject to the statutory requirements of Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Ordinance.

General Notes

(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. They should submit copies of their official transcripts and certificates by mail to the below enquiry address.
(h) To work mainly in Central & Western District and occasionally in other districts. Outdoor duties may be required.
(i) Candidates may need to work on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays or outside normal office hours.

Applications must be made on the form G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2013), copies of which are obtainable from any Home Affairs Enquiry Centre of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centres of the Employment Services Division, Labour Department. The form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau's website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). The completed application form, together with photocopies of academic certificates and employment proofs (e.g. employment certificates, reference letters, etc.), should reach the address below by post or in person no later than the closing date for applications. For submission by post, the deadline is based on the stamp chop date. Please ensure that sufficient postage is paid to avoid unsuccessful delivery of application. Any underpaid mail items will be disposed of by the Hongkong Post. For submission in person, the application should reach the address below by 6 p.m. of the closing date.
