A Contract Assistant Media Coordinator will mainly be deployed in fields of news and publicity. Responsibilities include writing, editing and translating promotional materials, disseminating information through social media and other platforms, managing website content and analysing public opinions on social media platforms (including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and LinkedIn, etc); assisting in the creation and design of contents to be used on social media platforms of Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD); editing photos to be posted to social media platforms; assisting in publicity activities related to the social media platforms of LCSD; and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
(Note: Appointee(s) may be required to work irregular hours including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.)

Salary and Fringe Benefits
$24,520 per month
An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted to the appointee upon satisfactory completion of the contract with a consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, plus the Government’s contribution to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity/paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
General Notes
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications.
