To undergo practical training under professional guidance to prepare for the Assessment of Professional Competence in the General Practice Division of the HKIS, leading subsequently to its corporate membership.
Terms of Appointment
Valuation Surveying Graduates are graduate trainees engaged for a maximum period of 4 years to obtain the necessary training and pre-professional experience to meet the requirements of the General Practice Division of the HKIS and the requirements of an appropriate rank of the Valuation Surveyor grade. Valuation Surveying Graduates are not civil servants.

General Notes
(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. They should submit copies of their official transcripts, certificates and documents in support of applicant’s academic and professional qualification as well as working experience by mail to the below contact address WITHIN ONE WEEK after close of application period.

(a) Application forms [G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2013)] are obtainable from any Home Affairs Enquiry Centre of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centres of the Employment Services Division, Labour Department. The said form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau’s Internet website (http://www.csb.gov.hk).
(b) Completed application forms together with a copy of the certificates showing the results achieved in Chinese and English languages, transcripts, documents in support of applicants’ academic qualification, working experience and supporting documents mentioned in the entry requirements should reach the contact address below on or before the closing date for application. (c) The postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of application.
