Entry Requirements

Candidates should have –
(a) A Hong Kong degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or Computer Studies, or equivalent;
(b) Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and Level 3 or above in English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) [see Note (1)], or equivalent;
(c) valid certificate(s) of PRINCE2 Practitioner, Project Management Professional or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) – Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management;
(d) At least 10 years’ post-qualification experience including 6 years in the capacity of project manager role, 5 years in procurement of IT services and contract management;
(e) solid working experience in conducting system analysis & design (SA&D), system implementation & integration (SI&I), and security risk assessment & audit (SRAA) for new computer system(s); and
(f) Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills; and excellent command of written English and good command of spoken English and Chinese.

(1) For non-civil service appointment purpose, ‘Grade C’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth; ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 2” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(2) Candidates should obtain all the above-mentioned entry requirements on or before the closing date for application.

To lead and supervise a team of application support staff to provide support services for -
(1) conducting feasibility study of new projects and preparation of feasibility study report;
(2) preparing funding applications for new projects and monitoring the project expenditure;
(3) administering and maintaining the application systems;
(4) provision of implementation services of enhancements and application revamp services; and
(5) providing IT professional advice and business liaison support to user.

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 12 months.\r\n

Salary and Fringe Benefits

HK$71,205 per month
An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) Scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Other benefits, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the Employment Ordinance.

General Notes

(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

Application Forms (G.F. 340 [(Rev. 3/2013)]) are obtainable from any Home Affairs Enquiry Centres of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centres of the Employment Services Division, Labour Department. The said form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau (CSB)'s website (https://www.csb.gov.hk).

Applications, together with copies of (a) transcripts and certificates in support of the relevant academic and professional qualifications; and (b) supporting evidences of Post-qualification working experience showing the position, employment commencement date and end date; submitted in person or by post should reach the contact address on or before 17 May 2022. The postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the application submission date.
