Salary History

Entry Requirements

Candidates must:
(i) be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(ii) be students of full-time undergraduate or post-graduate programmes in local or overseas post-secondary institutions (except final-year students);
(iii) be proficient in using MS Office applications;
(iv) have good communication skills; and
(v) be fluent in both written and spoken Chinese and English.

The successful candidates will work in the Engineering, Corporate Safety and/or Administration Divisions for –
(a) providing administrative support to the daily operation, various working groups and stores/procurement activities of the respective units;
(b) assisting in checking/updating/verifying/preparing documentation, records and statistical data related to technical manuals/maintenance schedule matters/internal training for the respective units;
(c) assisting in research study and handling engineering projects; and
(d) assisting in liaising with works departments and/or contractors regarding various office accommodation projects.

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for July to August 2020. The interns are normally required to work 44 hours per week.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

HK$10,500 per month

(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. Hong Kong students studying full-time degree courses in local post-secondary institutions should apply through the Student Affairs Offices / Career Centres of their respective institutions. They are advised to note the deadlines set by the respective institutions. Direct applications from students are not accepted.

Students studying in non-local post-secondary institutions should download and complete the application for from Bureau’s website (https://www.csb.gov.hk/tc_chi/admin/appoint/782.html). Completed application form together with a copy of the certificate of their student status of their institutions should reach the below contact address by post on or before 22 May 2020. The postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of application and please specify the title of the post being applied for on the envelope. To avoid delayed or unsuccessful delivery of applications by post, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage has been affixed before posting. Mail items bearing insufficient postage will not be delivered to this department and will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the Hongkong Post, where appropriate. Applicants will bear any consequences arising from paying insufficient postage. Applications which are incomplete, late or submitted by fax or e-mail, or not made in the prescribed form, or not duly signed, or not accompanied by the required documents will not be considered.
