How to apply
(a) Application Forms [G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2013)] are obtainable from any Home Affairs Enquiry Centre of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centre of the Employment Services Division, Labour Department. The said form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk).
(b) Applications could be submitted in person or by post. Completed application forms [G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2013)], together with a resume (working experience with descriptions of IT projects/systems involved), copies of documents in support of academic qualifications (including results achieved in Chinese and English languages) and technical qualifications (if applicable), should reach the below enquiry address on or before 26 March 2020. Please specify on the envelope “Application for the post of Information Technology Manager”.
(c) For submission of the application and/or the supporting documents by post, the postmark date(s) on the envelope will be regarded as the date of application and/or submission of supporting documents. To avoid unsuccessful delivery of mail items, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage has been paid before posting. Mail items bearing insufficient postage will not be delivered to this Department and will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the Hongkong Post, where appropriate. An applicant will bear any consequences arising from not paying sufficient postage.
(d) If applications are late or incomplete, or not made in the prescribed form, or not duly signed, or submitted by fax or e-mail, or without copies of the relevant supporting documents, or if the relevant supporting documents are received after the closing date for application, or are insufficient, such applications will NOT be considered.
(e) All applicants must provide clearly their personal Internet e-mail addresses on their application forms. Candidates who are invited to attend for the selection interview will receive separate invitation(s) by e-mail within four weeks from the closing date for applications (applicants are responsible for ensuring that the provided e-mail addresses can receive the invitations). Those who do not receive any invitation to the selection interview can assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
