Salary History

Entry Requirements

(a) be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(b) be full-time students studying in accredited degree programmes of any disciplines offered by local/non-local post-secondary institutions in their second year of study or above (students who will graduate in the academic year of 2019/2020 will not be considered);
(c) be proficient in written Chinese and English, be able to speak fluent Cantonese and English;
(d) have good knowledge in computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel and Chinese word processing, and knowledge in Google survey is desirable; and
(e) have knowledge and experience in performing arts is preferred.

Duties

The summer interns will be deployed to one of the programme offices, including the Cultural Presentations Section, Festivals Office, Community Programmes Office and Film Programmes Office to undertake the following duties:
1. To assist in preparation of web and printed publicity materials for cultural programmes/events including design and production of poster and house programme, and liaison with other departments/organisations in respect of promotion of the programmes/events;
2. To assist in logistic arrangement such as hotel accommodation and transportation for artists/arts groups, technical/stage services and liaison with relevant parties to facilitate the smooth operation of the programmes/events;
3. To assist in development of creative contents and marketing strategies for social media/digital platforms; and
4. To assist in development and implementation of audience survey.

Terms of Appointment

Successful candidate will be engaged on non-civil service contract terms for a period of around 2 months from July to August 2020. Successful candidate is normally required to work 44 hours per week. Irregular working hours may be required upon operational need.\r\n\r\n

Salary and Fringe Benefits

HK$10,500 per month

(g) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply but their qualifications will be subject to assessments on equivalence with the required entry qualifications. (a) Applicants may indicate their preferred Programme Offices on the application form for consideration by the Department.
(b) Application form is available at CSB’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk/english/admin/appoint/782.html). Completed forms together with copies of the documents proving academic qualifications should reach the enquiry address below on or before the closing date of application (according to postmark). Applicants studying in overseas institutions should provide certificates issued by the appropriate authority of their post-secondary institutions certifying their student status in the institution. Applicants should clearly mark “Application for Post-Secondary Student Summer Internship Programme 2020” on the envelope.
(c) Applications through e-mail and fax will not be accepted. All candidates invited for interview will be required to produce the originals of the supporting documents for verification purpose. The application will be deemed unsuccessful if any applicant fails to produce the originals of the required documents for verification.
(d) Applications which are late, incomplete or without photocopies of the required documents for verification will not be considered. Please make sure that all mail items bear sufficient postage. This Department will not accept any underpaid mail items and such items will be handled by the Hongkong Post. (e) Candidates who are selected for interview will receive an invitation within five weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
