Entry Requirements

(a) Permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(b) Non-first/-final year students in the 2019/20 academic year studying in full-time programme in the fields of mechanical engineering or relevant majors offered by local / non-local accredited post-secondary institutions; and
(c) Good knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel

Duties

(a) Assist in assessments of technical standards and mechanisms for gas cylinder approval of different authorities around the world;
(b) Assist in revision on current qualification requirements of Appointed Examiner;
(c) Assist in preparing flowcharts for work procedures of the Division.

Terms of Appointment

Summer intern is engaged under non-civil service appointment. Employment period is from July 2020 to August 2020. He/She is normally required to work 44 hours per week.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

$ 10,500 per month
Rest day, statutory holidays, general holidays, sickness days, where appropriate, will be granted to the successful candidate in line with the provisions in the Employment Ordinance. The Mandatory Provident Fund Scheme Ordinance (Cap. 485) will apply to the summer intern.

General Notes

(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(g) Candidates who have not received an invitation for an interview by 30 June 2020 may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
