Entry Requirements

Candidates should –
(a) be students pursuing a full-time Bachelor degree offered by post-secondary institutions locally or overseas;

(b) have completed the first year of study and not be students graduating in 2020;

(c) be proficient in using MS Word and MS Excel; and

(d) have good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (with Level 3 or above in both Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or equivalent).
Remarks
Grade C in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to “Level 3” in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
 

Duties

To assist in the implementation of the District Health Centre (DHC) Scheme through assisting in -
(a) providing secretariat and logistic support;

(b) managing general administrative and support services of the Primary Healthcare Office (PHO); and

(c) providing support for ad-hoc assignments/ projects of PHO as required.

Terms of Appointment

The successful candidate will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms from July to August 2020 in the PHO under the Food and Health Bureau.

Salary and Fringe Benefits

$10,500 per month
Rest days, statutory holidays, general holidays, sickness days, where appropriate will be granted to successful candidates in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.

General Notes

(a) Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise.

(b) Completed application forms, together with copies of academic transcripts of current study and certificates of HKDSEE/HKCEE or equivalent, should be sent by post to the enquiry address on or before the closing date and time below, (according to the postmark). (c) If candidates fail to provide the supporting documents as requested, their applications will not be considered. Applications not made in the prescribed form or which are incomplete or late will not be considered.

(d) To avoid delayed or unsuccessful delivery of applications by post, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage has been affixed before posting. Mail items bearing insufficient postage will be returned to the senders or disposed of by the Hongkong Post.
