Entry Requirements
Candidates should:
(a) have a Bachelor’s or higher degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent, preferably in the fields of communication, public relations, media or marketing;
(b) have at least 8 years’ post-degree full-time work experience in public affairs, corporate communication, public relations, promotions or event management. Hands-on experience on the use of social media for promotion would be an advantage [See Note (1)];
(c) have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to communicate effectively (both written and spoken) with internal and external stakeholders, including the business sector, Government bureau/departments, non-governmental organisations, schools, etc.;
(d) have excellent writing proficiency in English and Chinese, be fluent in spoken English and Cantonese, with Level 3 or above in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination or in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent [See Note (2)]; and
(e) be proficient in computer software applications including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Illustrator.
