Application forms [G.F.340 (Rev. 3/2013)] are obtainable from any Home Affairs Enquiry Centres of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centres of the Employment Services Division, Labour Department. The said form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Completed applications on G.F. 340 together with the required documents mentioned in Note (3) should reach the Appointments Section, Environmental Protection Department on or before the closing date for application. Please specify “Application for the post of EPO(WQM)(WW)” on the envelope. To avoid delay or unsuccessful delivery of applications by post, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage has been affixed before posting. Mail items bearing insufficient postage will not be delivered to this Department and will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the Hongkong Post, where appropriate. Applicants will have to bear any consequences arising from paying insufficient postage.
Applicants may also apply online through the Civil Service Bureau’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Applications submitted by fax or e-mail will not be accepted. Candidates who apply online should submit copies of the required documents mentioned in Note (1) within one week from the closing date for application, i.e. on or before 7 August 2020, by post or email (
[email protected]) to the Appointments Section, Environmental Protection Department. The online application number should be quoted on the envelope (if applicable) and every page of the copies of the required documents.
Applications not made in the prescribed form or which are incomplete, late or without provision of copies of the required documents will not be considered. Candidates may be required to sit for a written examination. Candidates who are selected for written examination/interview will normally receive an invitation in about six to eight weeks from the closing date for application. Invitation will be issued via email. Please ensure the email address is properly provided. Those who are not invited for written examination/interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful.
